 Our event host, Gianmarco Raimondo, is a St. Catharines, ON local who has competed internationally as a professional race car driver. His career highlights include becoming the Formula BMW America's Rookie Champion, European F3 Open Vice Champion, and the first Canadian to debut in the feeder series to Formula 1, GP2 (now known as Formula 2). 

After the fallout of sponsorship to compete in GP2 with Formula 1 testing, Gianmarco made the decision to move back to his hometown of St. Catharines, ON. 

In the pursuit to continue his dreams of being a professional race car driver, Gianmarco, with the help and support of his family and friends, has decided to raise the funds to kickstart his North American career with Super Car Day at Paddock Motor Club.

 In racing, the cost of a race weekend or race season is covered by sponsors and/or investors.  The proceeds raised at #SuperCarDay2018 will go toward covering the costs for Gianmarco's competition in the Prototype Series in an LMP3 Car in Sebring, Florida. In lieu of this, Gianmarco will be giving the visibility on the race car to Prostate Cancer Canada's marketing campaign as donation;
